PFI Systems has over 1000 isolator installations worldwide and our customer base includes the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, leading governmental and independent research labs, universities, and research hospitals.

PFI Systems was founded by Mike Flack in 1993. Mike had been running the isolator business of a large multinational company and had over 25 years experience designing and working with flexible film isolators. He saw the advantages of a company who could dedicate all their efforts to the design, manufacture, supply and servicing of flexible film isolators. As a result, PFI Systems was born.

In 2002, PFI Systems became part of the Advanced Plastic Technology group of companies. The size of the group gives PFI the capability to call on shared resources to deliver large scale projects to demanding timescales. At the same time, PFI retains a core of specialised staff dedicated to the design, manufacture and supply of isolators and isolation solutions.
